The FD-NLS Desktop application is a work in progress. It's goal is to make contributing to the FreeDOS Translation Project less cumbersome for translators. Eventually, it will remove the need for the contributors to concern themselves with anything to do with the translation file formats, encoding or file locations. It should also remove the need of dealing with git directly and other utilities desgined more for programmers. It will provide a single uniform interface with live DOS codepage previews, automatic conversion and handling of codepage/UTF-8 files and all of the mundane aspects that can create a barrier for contributors.
